Project Move Tasks

Project task type supporting asset and contact relocations between locations. Move Tasks coordinate location transfers, update related data automatically, and provide audit trails through Move Assets and Move Contacts sub-navigations available after setting Task Type to Move Task.

Modules > Projects > Projects > Project Move Tasks

The link will open the Tasks Groups / Project Task grid. It is a grid view that can be customised and sorted as normal.

To add a new Project Task click New , to edit an existing Project Task click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Project Task.

To make the Task a Move Task the Type must be set to Move Task. Upon Save additional sub navigations will be come available. These include:

Move Asset Tasks will allow Assets to be easily moved from one Location to another.

Field Name	Description
Asset To Move
Asset	From the drop down select the Asset to move.
Asset Tag	Auto-populated from the selected Asset.
Asset System	Auto-populated from the selected Asset.
Original Building	Auto-populated from the selected Asset.
Original Location	Auto-populated from the selected Asset.
Move Details
Move To Building	From the drop down select the Building to move the Asset to.
Move To Location	From the drop down select the Location to move the Asset to.
Scheduled Move Date	Enter the scheduled date for the Assets to be moved.
Actual Move Date	Auto-populated with the date the Assets are actually moved.
Notes
Additional Notes	Free text notes relating to the Asset move.

Complete the fields and click Save . Once the Asset Move header has been completed and saved an icon will appear to allow the Assets to be moved. To move the Assets click Move Assets .

Move Contact Tasks will allow Contacts to be easily moved from one Location to another.

Contact	From the drop down select the Contact to move.
Original Building	Auto-populated from the original Contact.
Original Location	Auto-populated from the original Contact.
Move Details
Move To Building	From the drop down select the Building to move the Contact to.
Move To Location	From the drop down select the Location to move the Contact to.
Old Desk No.	Auto-populated from the original Contact.
New Desk No.	The new desk number
Old Phone No.	Auto-populated from the original Contact.
New Phone No.	The new phone number
Old Fax No.	Auto-populated from the original Contact.
New Fax No.	The new fax number.
Scheduled Move Date	The scheduled date to move the Contacts.
Actual Move Date	Auto-populated with the date the Contacts were actually moved.
Labels Required?	Check the box if labels are required for boxes.
No. of Boxes	If the Labels Required box is checked the number of boxes required can be entered.
Notes
Additional Notes	Free text notes regarding the Contacts move.

Complete the fields and click Save . Once the Contact Move header has been completed and saved an icon will appear to allow the Contacts to be moved. To move the Contacts click Move Contacts .

If labels have been requested they can be printed by clicking Print Labels .
