Asbestos Types
Available from 6.5.0.0
The Asbestos Types feature allows you to evaluate asbestos types. You can specify Type Code and Type for each entry. This helps categorize and organize asbestos types consistently across the system.
Settings > Asbestos > Material Assessment Data
The link will open the Asbestos Types grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.
To add a new Asbestos Type click New 
, to edit an existing Asset Name click Edit 
. A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of an Asbestos Type.

| Type Code | The unique mandatory reference code of the Asbestos Type. |
| Type |
A free format field to provide a description of the Type of Asbestos. |
| Material Assessment Score |
Field for users to enter a numeric value that's appropriate for the Type of Asbestos - a low score equates to a lower risk. The value will be fed into an algorithm used to provide a score for asbestos Priority Assessments. |
Complete the fields and click Save and Close
