Connection Types

Connection Types allows administrators to define and categorize the various types of connections that exist between assets within facility infrastructure networks. This asset relationship management tool supports supply connections, data connections, flow connections, structural connections, and other operational linkages, enabling comprehensive asset interdependency mapping, maintenance planning, and system understanding for effective facility management and operational coordination across connected asset networks.
Settings > Assets > Connection Types
The link will open the Connection Types grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.
To add a new Connection Type click New 
, to edit an existing Connection Type click Edit 
. A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Connection Type.
Click to view - Connection Types Fields and Descriptions
Complete the fields and click Save and Close 
.
Connections are linked to the Asset from the Asset entity.
