MRI Dreamscape Users & Groups

The MRI Dreamscape Users & Groups section allows you to add, view, and manage users and groups for your Dreamscape applications. This central management ensures secure access, proper user assignment, and streamlined administration for all Dreamscape-enabled features.
To add or update users, use the provided forms and validation rules.
Action: Add or edit users and groups as needed to maintain accurate access control. Review validation rules and update user details to reflect organizational changes.

Recent updates have removed the requirement for Social Name and its uniqueness for Sub Tenants, simplifying user management.
Settings > MRI Dreamscape Settings > MRI Dreamscape Users & Groups
The link will open the MRI Dreamscape Users & Groups grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.
To add a new MRI Dreamscape User click New 
, to edit an existing MRI Dreamscape User click Edit 
. A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a MRI Dreamscape User.

Essential for maintaining data integrity when synchronizing user accounts across multiple MRI Dreamscape-enabled applications and ensuring accurate user activity reporting. |

| Email Address |

This address receives system notifications, password reset links, application invitations, and important account updates. Used for single sign-on (SSO) authentication when accessing MRI Dreamscape applications. Ensure the email address is actively monitored and belongs to the intended user, as it controls account access and security. |

Display name or username shown in MRI Dreamscape applications, collaboration features, and social interactions (e.g., @username in comments, visible name in shared workspaces). Can be a nickname, preferred name, or professional alias that differs from the legal First Name and Last Name. No longer required to be unique for Sub Tenants (simplified in v7.0), allowing multiple users to share common display names when needed. Optional field that helps personalize the user experience while maintaining formal name records separately. |

Legal or official given name used for formal communications, audit trails, compliance reporting, and official system records. This name appears in formal reports, user administration interfaces, and legal documentation. While Social Name can be a casual display name, First Name should match the user's official identification. Used together with Last Name to create the full formal user identity for administrative and regulatory purposes. |

Legal surname or family name used for formal identification, administrative records, and compliance documentation. Combined with First Name to establish the user's complete official identity in the system. Used as the primary sorting field in user lists, reports, and administrative interfaces (e.g., "Smith, John" format). Essential for matching user records to official documentation, HR systems, and regulatory reporting requirements. Should reflect the user's legal name rather than preferred or social names. |

Settings > MRI Dreamscape Settings > MRI Dreamscape Users & Groups - MRI Dreamscape Publishing
The link will open the MRI Dreamscape Publishing grid. It is a grid view that can be customised and sorted as normal.
To assign Applications click Assign to Applications
