Integrated Services Preferences

The System Preferences feature in MRI Evolution Integrated Services allows administrators to configure key behavioural settings for task management. For example, preferences can be set to require users to enter mitigating comments when pausing a task, supporting compliance, accountability, and detailed event tracking.

ISM Settings
Force Mitigating Comment Entry	When enabled, this checkbox enforces mandatory documentation of risk mitigation actions and explanatory comments when users acknowledge or respond to Integrated Services Management (ISM) alerts, audit findings, or compliance issues. Users cannot close high-risk alerts or failed audit items without providing detailed mitigating comments explaining remedial actions taken, workarounds implemented, or justification for acceptance of the risk. Essential for regulatory compliance, audit trails, and demonstrating due diligence in health and safety, environmental, or quality management systems. Prevents box-ticking behavior and ensures accountability when addressing compliance concerns. Mitigating comments are timestamped, attributed to users, and preserved in immutable audit logs for inspection by external auditors or regulatory bodies.
