Location Types

Classifications that make Locations bookable (e.g., Meeting Room, Training Room, Hot-Desk). Assign types to enable Facilities Booking functionality and filter spaces by operational purpose.

The Purchase Key licence dependency for this specific element of the system has been removed and is now included as standard in the core MRI Evolution product the feature has been turned on for all systems by default.

Note: Other restrictions, such as User licence type restrictions and / or any restrictions to underlying functionality that is dependent upon Purchase Key licences will remain in place.

Settings > Property & Estates > Location Types

The link will open the Location Type grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Location Type click New , to edit an existing Location Type click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Location Type.

Field Name	Description
Location Description	Enter the description of the Location Type.
Code	Available from 6.1.2.0 Optionally enter a Code for the Location Type, where appropriate.
Classification	Available from 6.1.2.0 Optionally select a Classification from the list. Classifications are created as part of a BIM model import.
Allow Booking	Check the box if this Location Type should be bookable.
Max booking per chairperson per day	Enter the maximum number of bookings a chairperson can make in a day for this Location Type. A value of 0 (zero) means there is no limit applied.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
