Quote Preferences

Default settings for Quotes module. Configure deadlines, automatic actions, and event tracking to standardize quote creation and approval workflows, reduce manual data entry, and ensure policy compliance.

Settings > Quotes > Quote Preferences

The link will open a pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of Quotes Preferences.

Field Name	Description
Requested Quotes _ Days	The default number days used to set the target submission date against a Requested Quote.
Issued Quotes _ Days	The default number days used to set the target submission date against an Issued Quote.
Action performed automatically when a Requested Quoted is approved	From the drop down select the action to be performed when a requested quote is approved. Create Purchase Order - this will automatically create a PO when the Requested Quote is approved (Purchase Order module is required). Take No Action - no action will be taken when a Requested Quote is approved. Prompt User - when a Requested quote is approved the User will see a pop up window prompting the User to create a PO if required (Purchase Order module is required).
Requested Quote Events Tab	Check the boxes for quote actions that will automatically enter an Event against the Requested Quote.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
