Creating Events Against Entities

Create and attach Event Types to enable automated event tracking in MRI Evolution. Once created, attach Event Types to relevant entities for activity monitoring, audit trails, and workflow automation.

To create Event Types see Event Types

Settings > Event Settings > Event Types > Creating / Attaching Event Types

The link will open the Entity / Event grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Event click New , to edit an existing Event click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of an Event.

Field Name	Description
Event	From the drop down select the Event - for more information see Event Types.
Logged By	Auto-populated with the User's name who created the Event.
Date Logged	Auto-populated with the date and time the Event was originally logged.
Event Type	From the drop down select the Event Type from: Actual - the Event will auto-populate the actioned date with the date the Event was added. Planned - the Event will contain a due by date, this can be completed at a later date and the actioned check box can be checked when required.
Date Due	If the Event Type is planned a due date can be entered.
Actioned	If the Event Type is planned this box can be checked when the Event has been actioned (auto-checked if the Event type is Actual).
Actioned Date	Auto-populated with the date and time the Event was actioned.
Comments	Generic comments for the Event.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
