Widget - Task Grid

Query-based task display widget with configurable refresh intervals, opening behaviour per platform, and grid column customization. Supports role-specific task filtering and event configuration for organized task management across dashboard interfaces.

Settings > Widgets & Home Pages > Widgets > Widget - Task Grid

The link will open the Widgets grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Widget click New , to edit an existing Widget click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Widget.

Select the Widget template : Task Grid. Complete the fields and click Save . Click Configure Widget .

Field Name	Description
New / Edit Task Widget	From the drop down select the Helpdesk widget to use if a new Task is raised from the grid.
In Evolution Reach	From the drop down select: (when a Task is opened from the Task grid choose what feature is used to open the Task) Widget Standalone Widget
In MRI Evolution	From the drop down select: (when a Task is opened from the Task grid choose what feature is used to open the Task) Widget - open the Task using a Widget Standalone Widget - open the Task using a standalone Widget Helpdesk - open the Task using the Helpdesk Simple Helpdesk - open the Task using the Helpdesk Users Helpdesk - open the Task using the Users Task preferences (from Task Settings, if the box is checked to "Use Helpdesk", the Task will open in the Helpdesk, otherwise it will open with the Helpdesk)
In Evolution Connect	From the drop down select: (when a Task is opened from the Task grid choose what feature is used to open the Task) Widget Standalone Widget Helpdesk Simple Helpdesk Users Helpdesk
Refresh every	Enter the time to refresh the Task Grid Widget
Grid Queries	The grid queries assigned to the Widget.

Queries must be assigned to the Task Grid Widget . To assign Queries click Assign , entities in the right hand assignment window are connected.

Additional Icons and Features

Icon	Feature	Description
	Set Grid Columns	Set the Set Default Columns for the Task Grid Widget
	Configure Task Events	Set default fields for Events when added to Tasks from the Task Grid Widget.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
