Element Classification Groups

Available from 6.5.0.0

Top-level categories in building classification systems like Uniclass 2015 (SS_30: Roof, floor and paving systems), Omniclass, or UniFormat. Each Group contains hierarchical Element Classifications that subdivide into parent, child, and grandchild records.

Link Groups and Classifications to Asset Classifications to organize building components by industry-standard taxonomies.

The Purchase Key licence dependency for this specific element of the system has been removed and is now included as standard in the core MRI Evolution product the feature has been turned on for all systems by default.

Note: Other restrictions, such as User licence type restrictions and / or any restrictions to underlying functionality that is dependent upon Purchase Key licences will remain in place.

Settings > Property & Estates

The link will open the Element Classification Group Grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Element Classification Group click New , to edit an existing Element Classification Groups click Edit .A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Element Classification Groups

Field Name	Description
Name	Enter an appropriate name for the Element Classification Group.
Code	Optionally, enter a code for the Element Classification Group.
Version Number	Optionally, enter a version number for the Element Classification Group.
Description	Optionally, enter an appropriate description for the Element Classification Group.
Date Published	Optionally, enter a date the Element Classification Group was published - This date is for reference only.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
