Recoverability Types

Recoverability Types categorize recoverable expenses that landlords can pass on to tenants, such as utilities, maintenance, property taxes, or insurance. Apply Recoverability Types to Purchase Orders and Task Actions to track tenant-recoverable costs.

Settings > Finance

The link will open the Recoverability Types grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Recoverability Type click New , to edit an existing Reference Group click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Recoverability Type.

Field Name	Description
Code	Enter an appropriate Code for the Recoverability Type.
Name	Enter an appropriate Name for the Recoverability Type.
Description	Enter a Description for the Recoverability Type.
Enable Department Section	Check the check-box to allow users to select which Department the Recoverability Type (expense) is to be recovered from. If the expense is recoverable from multiple Departments, the user should create multiple lines in the Purchase Order or Task Action, selecting the Recoverability Type and relevant Department for each line in order to recover the costs accordingly.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
