Asbestos Register

Available from 6.5.0.0

Comprehensive record of known or suspected Asbestos Containing Materials across facilities. Tracks ACM survey results, risk assessments, material and priority scoring, and supports regulatory compliance through document attachment, event linking, and auditable reporting capabilities.

Facilities > Asbestos Register

The link will open the Asbestos Register grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

Grid Icons	Feature	Description
/	View / Add Events	Left clicking on the icon will produce a pop up window showing Events, there is also a hyper-link within the pop up window to add Events.
/	View / Add Documents	Left clicking on the icon will produce a pop up window showing attached Documents, there is also a hyper-link within the pop up window to add Documents.
	View / Edit ACM	Left clicking on the icon will open the Asbestos Containing Material record.
	Material Score	Visual indicators to display the calculated Asbestos Material Score values directly in the grid: Very Low - 0 - 3 Low - 4 - 6 Medium - 7 - 9 High - 10 and above
	Priority Score	Visual indicators to display the calculated Asbestos Priority Score values directly in the grid: Very Low - 0 - 8 Low - 9 - 13 Medium - 14 - 17 High - 18 and above
	Risk Score	Visual indicators to display the calculated Asbestos Risk Score values directly in the grid: Very Low - 0 - 11 Low - 12 - 19 Medium - 20 - 26 High - 27 and above

Click the New toolbar button. A pop up window will appear, allowing the addition of an Asbestos Containing Material record.

To edit an existing Asbestos Containing Material highlight the record in the grid and click Edit.

Select a record in the grid and click the Report toolbar button to open the ACM-001 Asbestos Containing Materials report for the selected record.

Field Name	Description
Reference	Mandatory free format field to contain the identifying reference of the ACM.
Description	Free format field to enter a description of the ACM.
Label	Free format field to enter details of an ACM warning label applied.
Hazard	Read only field to display details of a Hazard linked to the ACM. The field label is a hyper link to open the linked Hazard record directly.
Date Surveyed	Field that contains the date and time the Survey is to take place, or has taken place.
Surveyed By	Free type field to contain the name of the person carrying out the Survey.
Date Reviewed	Field that contains the date and time the results of the Survey has been reviewed.
Material Labelled	Check-box to indicate that a warning label has been applied to the ACM.
Identification	Select an appropriate Identification Level for the ACM from the drop-down.
Superseded	Read only check-box to indicate whether the ACM has been superseded by a safer alternative.
Location
Site	Select an appropriate Site for the ACM from the drop-down.
Building	Select an appropriate Building for the ACM from the drop-down. Available from 7.0.0.0 It is possible to display the relevant parent/child relationship data in this auto-complete by enabling the Enable Hierarchical Auto-Completes option in the General Preferences page.
Location	Select an appropriate Location for the ACM from the drop-down. Available from 7.0.0.0 It is possible to display the relevant parent/child relationship data in this auto-complete by enabling the Enable Hierarchical Auto-Completes option in the General Preferences page.
Accessibility	Select an appropriate Accessibility for the ACM from the drop-down.
Accessibility Notes	Free format field to contain appropriate notes related to the Accessibility of the ACM.
Position	Select an appropriate Position for the ACM from the drop-down.
Position Notes	Free format field to contain appropriate notes related to the Position of the ACM.

Asbestos Type	Select an appropriate Asbestos Type for the ACM from the drop-down.
Product Type	Select an appropriate Product Type for the ACM from the drop-down.
Product	Select an appropriate Product for the ACM from the drop-down.
Amount	Free format field to contain the amount of ACM present.
Condition	Select an appropriate Condition for the ACM from the drop-down.
Surface Treatment	Select an appropriate Surface Treatment for the ACM from the drop-down.
Condition Notes	Free format field to contain appropriate notes related to the Condition of the ACM.
Surface Treatment Notes	Free format field to contain appropriate notes related to the Surface Treatment of the ACM.

Number of occupants	Select the most appropriate value for the ACM from the drop-down.
Likelihood of Disturbance
Accessibility	Select the most appropriate value for the ACM from the drop-down.
Extent	Select the most appropriate value for the ACM from the drop-down.

Maintenance Activity

Complete the fields and click Save .

Click the Report toolbar button to open the ACM-001 Asbestos Containing Materials report for the current record.

The State of the ACM record can be changed by clicking the Status button group and selecting an appropriate value from the following options:

Presumed
Confirmed
Not Present
Removed
History

The user will be presented with a pop-up to add comments and these will be added to a State Change Event against the ACM record.

Survey	Select the appropriate Asbestos Survey for the ACM from the drop-down.
Survey Type	Read only field that is auto-populated with the value defined against the selected Asbestos Survey above.
Survey Date	Read only field that is auto-populated with the value defined against the selected Asbestos Survey above.
Supplier	Read only field that is auto-populated with the value defined against the selected Asbestos Survey above.
Surveyor	Read only field that is auto-populated with the value defined against the selected Asbestos Survey above.
Source	Read only field that is auto-populated with the value defined against the selected Asbestos Survey above.

Est. Removal Cost	Fiscal field to show the estimated cost to remove the ACM.
Est. Containment Cost	Fiscal field to show the estimated cost to contain the ACM.
General Notes	Free format field to enter any general notes relevant to the ACM.
Extent Notes	Free format field to enter any relevant notes as to the extent of the ACM.
Sample Notes	Free format field to enter any notes relevant to the ACM sample.
Sample Taken	Check box to indicate whether a sample was taken of the ACM.
