Location Register

Granular spatial definitions within buildings including rooms, corridors, storage cupboards, and other spaces for asset tracking and task logging. Locations support hierarchical parent-location relationships, scope classification, asbestos presence indicators, and can be created directly or through Building Register with automatic building field completion.

The Purchase Key licence dependency for this specific element of the system has been removed and is now included as standard in the core MRI Evolution product the feature has been turned on for all systems by default.

Note: Other restrictions, such as User licence type restrictions and / or any restrictions to underlying functionality that is dependent upon Purchase Key licences will remain in place.

A Scope field has been added and when used in conjunction with the new Parent Location field it gives greater flexibility and context for complex Location relationships, typically in the field of property management.

A check-box for Asbestos Present has also been added and certain existing fields have been repositioned to accommodate these new fields.

Facilities > Property and Estates > Locations

The link will open the Location Register grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Location click New , to edit an existing Location click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Location.

Complete the fields and click Save . Once the Location header has been completed and saved a sub navigation will appear to allow additional entities to be assigned / created. These include:

Locations are one of the system entities that can have Work & Access Surveys enabled in Table Catalog, in a similar way to enabling Hazard / Alert Types against an entity.

Once enabled against the Locations entity, a new sub navigation will become available in the System sub navigation group of the Locations input panel:
