Resources Overview is a landing page listing workforce configuration components (absence reasons, skills, shifts, statutory holidays, rotas, teams, statuses, non‑task time types, disciplines) that drive availability and assignment.

	Absence Reasons	Absence Reasons are used to define why a Resource is unavailable for assignment to a Tasks e.g. Sickness, Holiday, Training, Medical Appointment.
	Non-Task Time Types	Available from 6.5.0.0 The Non-Task Time Types feature in MRI Evolution allows organizations to categorize and track periods during the working day when resources are engaged in activities not directly related to tasks. This helps provide a complete picture of resource utilization and supports accurate reporting and analysis.
	Statutory Holiday Groups	Statutory Holiday Groups bundle individual statutory holidays into reusable sets used by Sales Invoicing, scheduling and assignment validation. They provide a single point of control for how holiday dates affect billing, SLA timers and downstream workflow steps.
	Statutory Holidays	Statutory Holidays are Bank, Religious or Public Holidays. They can be attached to Rotas and Contracts.
	Rotas	Rotas use Shifts to create weekly Rotas. They are useful to show Resource availability and aid maintenance planning.
	Shifts	MRI Evolution allows Shift patterns to be defined and individual Resources to be assigned to a particular shift via Rotas.
	Resource Disciplines	A discipline is a Resource's area of expertise. In MRI Evolution, each Resource must have a primary discipline, and can have secondary disciplines (e.g., an electrician with plumbing experience). Disciplines are also applied to Tasks to help with filtering, reporting, and selecting the right Resource for a Task.
	Resource Teams	Resources can be grouped together in Teams for filtering and reporting purposes.
	Resource Statuses	Resources can be allocated a status to enable them to be easily put to history or suspended from work.
	Skills	Skills can be used to filter the list of available Resources based on particular skills and qualifications that they may have.
