Modules Overview

Add-on module collection extending core functionality including Asbestos Surveys, Attributes, Catering Management, Concept Reports, Crystal Reports, Facilities Booking, Homepage, Inventory Management, Mobile Audits, Purchase Orders, Sales Invoicing, Visitor Management, and other specialized features.

Asbestos Surveys The Asbestos Surveys feature in MRI Evolution enables organizations to document and manage asbestos survey records in a structured, consistent manner. Users can specify codes and survey types for each entry, supporting compliance, risk management, and effective data collection for asbestos-related processes.
Attributes Extend MRI Evolution data capabilities beyond standard database schema through custom attribute configuration. Create additional fields for buildings, asset life-cycle management, and BIM integration, enabling flexible data storage across multiple system entities with administrator-controlled value types and validation.
Audits & Inspections

Mobile Audits are created in the Mobile Audits sub navigation of a Task. The status of the Task must ACTIVE. The purpose of the Task is to carry out a Mobile Audit on an Evolution Go mobile device.

When the Audit Task is assigned to a Resource that is linked to an Evolution Go user, the Mobile Audit is sent to the Evolution Go user's mobile device along with the Audit Task.

A Mobile Audit is generated from a Mobile Audit Template and will inherit the defined Questions and properties from the Template.

Mobile Audits are linked to a MRI Evolution Entity, such as Assets and a number of Audit Items (Entity records to be Audited) are assigned to the Audit during the creation of the Mobile Audit.

The Evolution Go user will complete the Mobile Audit on their mobile device, one Audit per Audit Item, in order to complete the Audit Task assigned to them. The answers provided to Mobile Audit Questions can be viewed in the Results sub navigation of the Mobile Audit.

Concept Reports Concept Reports represent Evolution's sophisticated business intelligence and analytics engine, transforming raw operational data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across all levels of facility management. This powerful reporting module provides organizations with comprehensive access to standardized, professional-quality reports that analyse everything from asset performance and maintenance costs to resource utilization and compliance metrics.
Crystal Reports Access, view, and print Crystal Reports from a single grid. Use this feature to generate standardized reports for operations, finance, or compliance, and share them with your team.
Catering

The Catering Management grid shows all Catering that has been ordered. This allows a clear view of all Catering requirements past and present.

New Catering items can be added and existing ones can be amended. The status of the item can also be changed.

Inventory

The Inventory Management grid shows all Inventory that have been ordered. This allows a clear view of all Inventory requirements past and present.

Inventory items can be amended. The status of the item can also be changed.

Visitors

Visitor Management helps you track and manage all guests entering your buildings in Evolution. You can record visitor details, mark arrivals and departures, and produce visitor badges for security and compliance.

This feature integrates with room bookings and other modules, allowing you to streamline visitor check-in, ensure accurate records, and maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.

PayMech

A Payment Mechanism (PayMech) defines how service payments are calculated for facilities management (FM) providers. It can be as simple as a fixed monthly or annual fee, or as complex as dynamic pricing based on service level performance, asset impact, or location-specific factors.

The Payment Mechanism Module lets you capture and process Task data, applying rules and calculations tailored to your contract. Calculations use data from MRI Evolution and Workflow, with results shown on each Task and in custom reports.

Projects The Projects Module is designed to allow you to manage a range of Tasks grouped together under a single Project banner. MRI Evolution provides multiple levels of authorisation for each Project and access to all of the standard Task features to allow for efficient assignment, management and tracking of all your Project Tasks.
Purchase Orders The Purchase Orders feature in MRI Evolution enables organizations to raise, track, and manage orders for products and services. Purchase Orders can be created independently or linked to tasks, and the module integrates with the Stores module for stock management. This supports streamlined procurement, inventory control, and financial oversight.
Facilities Bookings Facilities Booking Module provides end‑to‑end management of organizational space usage—covering meeting rooms, training suites, hospitality areas, hot‑desking zones and specialist facilities. It centralizes availability, reservation workflow, preparation tasks, utilisation metrics and demand management so teams can deliver reliable, well-supported events and meetings.
Quotes The quotes module features two types of quotes. Requested Quotes are raised and issued to subcontractors to request prices for carrying out quoted works. Issued Quotes are sent to Clients to gain approval for carrying out quoted works.
Sales Invoicing The Sales Invoicing module allows for Tasks, Contracts and Facilities Bookings to be invoiced.
Stores

The Stores module allows management of an organisation’s Stock. Records can be kept of any Stock that is purchased and subsequently used.

The Stores module can be integrated with the Order module so Stock can be ordered and received as required.

Stock can be issued and returned, Stock-takes can be produced and the results can be recorded, and manual adjustments can be made to ensure that Stock levels are accurate.

WIP

Work in Progress (WIP) tracks the projected costs of all ongoing tasks. It provides a clear view of outstanding work and associated costs.

In MRI Evolution, WIP uses Sales Invoicing Rule Groups to gather and report costs. Data can be generated for individual tasks or in bulk, covering both costs and sales.

This ensures accurate, up-to-date financial information for better project control and reporting.

SLA Matrix The SLA Matrix allows a businesses service level agreements to be built into a matrix that feeds from Task data.
