Settings - Property & Estates Overview

Configure comprehensive property and estates management framework within MRI Evolution facility management system. Establish hierarchical property structures, building classifications, location types, space management, and organizational elements enabling complete property portfolio management and spatial organization.

The Purchase Key licence dependency for this specific element of the system has been removed and is now included as standard in the core MRI Evolution product the feature has been turned on for all systems by default.

Note: Other restrictions, such as User licence type restrictions and / or any restrictions to underlying functionality that is dependent upon Purchase Key licences will remain in place.

Icon Feature Description
Building Conditions MRI Evolution allows Buildings to be allocated a Condition, this can be useful for filtering and reporting.
Location Conditions MRI Evolution allows Locations to be allocated a Condition, this can be useful for filtering and reporting.
Area Types Area Types are used to group together Areas which contain certain Locations e.g. All zones (Areas) within Areas of accident and emergency (Area Type).
Building Types MRI Evolution allows Buildings to have a Type connected to them e.g. Buildings contain "Offices" or is a "Retail Unit"
Department Elements Each Department within an organisation will consist of various groups of people, or sub-divisions such as Administration, client-facing personnel, office-based personnel or Customer Services. These sub-groups or sub-divisions are known as Elements
Department Groups Department Groups can be used as a top level grouping for Departments.
Location Types Adding a Location Type to a Location is what makes the room bookable. To aid with room booking and filtering different Location types can be added e.g. meeting room, training room or hot-desk.
Portfolio Types MRI Evolution uses Portfolios to group Buildings together, these Portfolios can have a Portfolio Type connected to them e.g. a Regional managers Portfolio or South East Retail Units
Region Type MRI Evolution uses Regions to group counties together, these regions can have a Region Type connected to them e.g. geographical or economical.
Space Functions

Space Functions are a way of classifying the Space entities of a BIM model.

Examples of Space Function classifications could be kitchen, living room, foyer, meeting room, breakout area and so on.

Element Classification Groups

Available from 6.5.0.0

Using combinations of Element Classification Groups and Element Classifications records, users can re-create the structure defined in an existing building classification system, such as Uniclass 2015 and UniFormat or create their own bespoke system.

Element Classification Groups and Element Classifications can be linked to existing Asset Classification records.

Element Classification Groups and Element Classifications can be linked to existing Asset Classification records.

Building Status MRI Evolution allows Buildings to have a status connected to them. This allows Buildings to be passed to History if no longer in use or Suspended if under repair.
Location Status MRI Evolution allows each Location to be graded via a Locational Status field. The grading may be used for a number of purposes including filtering and reporting.
Measurement Units Utilities are measured in different units e.g. electricity may be measured in KW /Hrs. The list of measurements is maintained here.
